MR. CHAN KOK WAI

Principal
SMJK Sam Tet

Good evening and a warm welcome to everyone present this evening, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Board of Governors, Parent-Teacher Association, guest of Honour guests, parents, teachers, organisations, sponsors, and donors who have given us continuous support for all the school programs and especially for our concert.

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is a distinct privilege to gather before you today to commemorate a truly historic milestone in legacy of our esteemed institution - the Sam Tet Brass Band 50th anniversary “Artelites Rhapsody Golden Jubilee Concert”!

The Sam Tet Brass Band has been actively participating in various local and international programs and competitions. They have had the distinct honour of actively engaging in many significant events, these include events graced by the esteemed members of the royal family, collaborative efforts with the esteemed Royal Malaysia Police, and invaluable partnerships with our state government. Our active participation in these events not only reflects the profound sense of community and excellence that defines our band but also underscores our commitment to upholding the highest standards of civic engagement and public service.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated coach, team of teacher advisors, and our incredible parents who have stood by us with unwavering support. Without their dedication and expertise, Sam Tet Brass Band would not go so far, and this concert would not have been possible.

As we bask in the resplendent melodies and harmonies that have graced our hearts tonight, let us remember that this concert is not merely a performance; it is an embodiment of the dedication, passion, and sheer hard work of the band members and coaches. Their tireless efforts have transformed this auditorium into a sanctuary of musical brilliance, where dreams and emotions resonate through every note played and every tune sung. Last but not least, I hope all of you will sit back and enjoy the musical performance tonight.

Thank you.
